Arctic fishing adventures!

Arctic fishing adventures occur at sea, on the mountain and in nice rivers. There is something to suit every taste and we offer activity experiences of all types. We take you in our wooden fishing smack, MS Kim, out to sea in search of the big one. Our experienced guides have considerable local knowledge and know the grounds where the fish are biting. Freshwater fishing is also a branded product here in Finnmark, and we take you to the mountain with “one thousand” lakes. Salmon fishing in rivers is also a strong and sought-after Finnmark product. On arrival back at the resort, the chef will be waiting to prepare the fresh catch of the day in our restaurant.

We offer fishing day-trips as well as programme packages of several days’ duration. All programmes can be adapted to suit your wishes and requirements.

Fishing trip in the Jarfjorden – Norway’s easternmost fjord!

DAY-TRIP

Jarfjorden is a fjord with rich fish stocks situated is an area with little building development and much wild nature. We take you out on the fjord in our wooden fishing smack, MS Kim, and hope the fish are biting. Our experienced guides have considerable local knowledge and know the grounds where the fish are. You can participate on your own terms whether you are a beginner or a seasoned angler.

Deep-sea fishing trip in the Barents Sea!

DAY-TRIPS

We chug out along the Jarfjorden in our fishing smack, MS Kim. At the mouth of the fjord, where the fjord meets the mighty Barents Sea, our local guides recommend where we draw anchor. Here, there is a chance to catch the big one! We prepare lunch in our large gamme (turf hut) built above a World War II cannon bunker. At the end of your fishing day, we return to our resort, and transport you back to your starting point.

River fishing for Finnmark salmon and trout!

DAGSTUR

Finnmark is renowned for its good fishing in the many rivers with rich fish stocks. We take you to one of our nearby rivers in search of a good catch. Our guides are extremely knowledgeable about this area, and know best where the fish are biting. We take lunch with us and enjoy a full day out in the rich, untouched nature.
