The Northern Lights are a nature phenomenon which you are never guarantied to see. In able to see the light it need to bee clear sky. Despite that we are situated far north, Kirkenes has a lot of advantages when it comes to see the Northern lights: inland climate=much clear sky, the golf stream=mildest place for northern light and direct flights=easy accesable.
