Bathing in icy waters!

This is an adventure you remember for the rest of your life! It’s a comfortable way to defy the Barents Sea. Wearing a survival suit, you slide down into icy water. The temperature is between 0 and 6 degrees Celsius year-round. You float around in a “weightless” condition enjoying the peace and tranquillity of the lapping of the waves. We call this our “Arctic spa”. Ice floes float past in winter, while in summer it’s swarming with life above and below the surface. You will be able to boat about this for the rest of your life: “I have bathed in the Barents Sea!” This tour may be combined with other experience products (our famous King crab safari, fishing trips and the like) and meals.

Barents Sea bathing combined with King crab safari!

We set off with our experienced divers in search of His Great Majesty of the Sea – the King crab! With the catch landed on the boat, you have the opportunity to have a close-up encounter with a wild, live animal! Back at the resort, but still abroad the boat, you put on a survival suit. Now it’s your turn to challenge the sea. We let you slide out into the icy water, but you remain warm and comfortable. Enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the lapping of the waves on the shore – this is our “Arctic spa”.  We round off the tour with a multimedia presentation about the King crab and the highlight of the day – a King crab feast featuring the world’s freshest crab!
